In doing so, it seemed important to feature ingredients that support a healthy skin biome and immune system, while eliminating ingredients that cause irritation or could potentially be harmful. After lots of trial and error over the past few years we've landed on a formulation that we love! Our Tallow Deodorant absorbs wetness, neutralizes odor, and promotes a healthy skin biome, without blocking lymph nodes and sweat glands that help rid our bodies of toxins. Our active powder blend is suspended in a highly emollient, antimicrobial combination of grassfed tallow, grassfed ghee, and local beeswax. Baking soda deodorants are popular these days, but many people experience skin irritation caused by its high pH. As a result, we include only a small sprinkle of baking soda to our active powder blend, just enough to neutralize odor causing bacteria it contacts. The irritating effects of a high pH are offset by the skin-friendly animal fats in which it is suspended. An array of other actives such as magnesium, zinc, and goldenseal also work synergistically to combat odor. Coconut oil is also a very popular ingredient in natural deodorants that we omitted because many people report a sensitivity to it. We hope you'll give it a try! This nourishing Deodorant is free of aluminum, alcohols, parabens, and synthetic fragrance. One or two swipes of the biodegradable cardboard applicator and you're on your way. Re-apply as needed. When switching to a natural product such as this, you may experience a transition period that may include excessive odor or sweating. If this happens, you may benefit from a detoxifying mask for your armpits. Ingredients: Grassfed Buffalo Tallow — Rendered from our family’s herd of water buffalo, this exceptionally nutritious fat is the basis of all our products. Grassfed Ghee -- Free of lactose and casein, ghee is clarified butter that has been cooked longer for a shelf-stable, nutty smelling healthy fat. It is a good source of Vitamins A and D and has antibacterial properties. Beeswax - Gives body to our formulation and is also antimicrobial by nature. Bamboo Powder - Aborbs 500 times its weight in moisture, bamboo powder is a natural choice for a natural deodorant. It does not block sweat glands, but instead absorbs excess sweat! Goldenseal — This herb is antimicrobial, anti inflammatory and strongly astringent. It also soothes underarm rashes. Banana Powder — This Potassium and Vitamin A-rich powder helps our deodorant absorb wetness while moisturizing and soothing your pits. Unlike other starches we've tried in natural deodorants, banana powder does not clog pores in armpits. Zinc Oxide (non-nano) - When combined with magnesium hydroxide acts as an effective odor neutralizer. It boasts many, many benefits for skin! Magnesium Hydroxide - We can all use a little more calmness from magnesium and when combined with zinc oxide it is a natural odor fighter! Sodium Bicarbonate - Powerful odor neutralizer, naturally mined and naturally aluminum free. Essential Oil Blend: Floral (relaxing and calming): Lavender, Tangerine, Geranium, Marjoram, Palmarosa, and Ylang Ylang.

Natural Ingredients for Skincare Grassfed Water Buffalo Tallow — Rendered from our family’s herd of water buffalo, this exceptionally nutritious fat is the basis of all our products. This blend is infused with organic direct trade coffee, organic acerola, organic rosehips, organic camu camu, organic white willow bark and organic plantain for a wrinkle-reducing, damage-fighting powerhouse! Emu crème — This rich oil is high in Vitamins E and K and deeply absorbed in the skin. It’s also a powerful analgesic and anti inflammatory. We source emu oil from a local farm where the birds freely roam dozens of acres of pasture and woods and are given no vaccines, de-wormers, or antibiotics. No preservatives are ever added to the emu oil. Emu oil has many anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties, and is also hypoallergenic! Oud Essential Oil — Also known as agarwood, this oil is extremely rare and prized for its anti inflammatory benefits as well as its rich scent. Oud's healing benefits are rejuvenative, tonic, anti-rheumatic, aphrodisiac, diuretic, anti-stress, antimicrobial, anti-convulsant, anti-asthmatic, anti-cancer, relaxant, analgesic, transformative, digestive, antioxidant, psychoactive, detoxifying, diaphoretic, and anti-depressant. Sandalwood Essential Oil — Sandalwood is high in sesquiterpenes which stimulate the pineal gland and limbic region of the brain, and help release melatonin (a powerful antioxidant). Sandalwood essential oil is known to support nerves and circulation, and revitalize and rehydrate skin. Directions: With a clean, dry finger, gently dab around the eyes, except for the eyelids. A little bit goes a long way and it might be best applied at night since the herbs slow the rate of absorption slightly. It is beneficial to use on your whole face a few times a week!

The perfect compliment to our Tallow Shampoo Bar, our Herbal ACV Hair Rinse is here! Acetic acid in apple cider vinegar restores scalp's natural acid mantle, flattening the cuticle, resulting in softer, shinier hair that is less prone to tangling. To use: Shampoo and rinse hair with warm (not hot) water. Spray Hair Rinse liberally onto scalp and hair, being careful to avoid eyes. Use fingers to spread evenly throughout. Rinse with cool water, or leave in as a conditioner. The vinegar scent will dissipate as hair dries. Dry and style hair as normal. Note: This Hair Rinse is made with natural, living ingredients and is not chemically preserved. For best results, use within 6 months of first use. It may be refrigerated when not used consistently. Buffalo Gal's Grasshopper Tallow Lip Balm quenches parched lips. Don't just lube your lips - help them heal! Our grassfed tallow is rich in Omega-3, CLA, and fat soluble vitamins such as D3, K, E, and A -- incredibly nourishing for lips! We blend it with grassfed ghee and lanolin wax for a hydrating saturated fat blend. My "lip-balm addicted" friends tell me they need much less of this product on a daily basis. Me, too! This makes sense because tallow so closely resembles the fat in our own skin, leaving lips feeling truly happy. **** Ingredients: 100% Grassfed tallow, grassfed ghee, lanolin wax, and organic flavor oil. **Best not to leave your lip balm in a hot car, but if you do, just place tube in the fridge for a bit and it will solidify again.
