New opening date for MLG
Hi everyone!
I had to make a change for our opening date due to the Christmas Parade in Monroe. After I announced the opening date, I found out that the parade will be staged right in front of our pick up location and there will be no access to it.
So, I am changing the first ordering window to open on Saturday, 12/4 at 12 pm and will close on Tuesday, 12/7 at 5pm. The first pick up date will be Thursday, 12/9 from 4pm-6pm at

Keep an eye out for the ordering email that will go out on Saturday to let you know that the market is open and ready for your orders.

Monroe Locally Grown is set to reopen!

We are excited to reopen Monroe Locally Grown! Our first ordering will open on 11/27 and our first pick up will be on 12/2 4pm-6pm at:

Our growers are working now on getting all of their listings updated for you to browse through. Emails for the order window opening will go out on Saturday, 11/27 at 12pm and will be open to take orders until Tuesday, 11/30 at 5pm.

Monroe Locally Grown is Open!
Happy Saturday Everyone!
Monroe Locally Grown is open and ready for your orders! After a 3 week break, we hope you are ready for some fresh, local items again!
Some new items:
Milk, cheese, and ice cream from Rock House Creamery. These items were only available for 1 market before we closed. I tried some of each and they were all delicious. Let me just say Butter Walnut ice cream!!! My family was not happy when the milk was gone and the market was not open to purchase more.
CSA Boxes-This item also only had a 1 market appearance. The boxes were filled with beautiful, fresh offerings and a lot of them! The items offered for this week has been updated on the market, so check it out.
New Grow Your Own Microgreen kits are available this week.
Keep your eye on the baked goods section. There will be new items being added.
Our Pie and Ice Cream giveaway is still going until Wednesday at 1:00. We will announce the winner on Instagram Wednesday afternoon at pick up. Hop on Instagram @monroelocallygrown and keep tagging your friends for more entries.

Monroe Locally Grown Updates
Hi Everyone!
It has been a while since I sent out one of these emails. We have been closed for 2 weeks now and I am going to close for this week also. We had a possible Covid-19 exposure recently so my whole family and extended family were self quarantining. Everything was fine, all negative test results. The risk for us was low, but just knowing that there was a possible exposure, we wanted to be extra careful. So, while quarantining, I needed to cancel appointments that I will be making up this week.
One of the appointments I am very excited about, I am finally getting my Cottage Foods License inspection done this week! Once the license is approved, I will be able to bring some freshly milled whole wheat products to the market. I LOVE baked goods,so I am changing up some of my favorite recipes to incorporate healthy whole grains. Hopefully I will be sharing these with you soon!
We will also be doing a Giveaway on Instagram. For every friend that you tag you will receive an entry for a “Pie and Ice Cream” Giveaway. The pie will be baked by our fabulous Deer Creek Farm and the ice cream will be from Rock House Creamery. The ice cream is delicious! So jump on Instagram and start tagging! It should be up this evening.
I look forward to opening for orders Saturday, July 25 and pick up on Wednesday, July 29. I will be posting product updates on Instagram and Facebook.

Monroe Locally Grown will be closed for July 8 pick up
Hi everyone!
I have decided to close the market for this upcoming week, July 8, due to the higher Covid-19 cases.
If all settles down, we will reopen for orders and pick up on July 15.
During the next week or so, you can help support our farmers and producers by sharing our social media posts and our website with your friends and contacts so we can build our following. To keep our market going, so we can bring fresh, local products to Walton County throughout the year, we need to get the word out that we are open and increase customer interest in our market. Your shares are very much appreciated!

Lonely Hearts Club Farm is now offering CSA Shares!
This is a great way to try lots and lots of great vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers! The share contains a balanced mix of everything in season on the farm. Portioned for a small family, one weeks worth of the healthiest eating. Every CSA share comes with a bouquet of cut flowers!
Available for June-July 2020 Cucumbers, cabbage, kale, basil, collards, Tarragon, rosemary, cut flowers and lots more! (Tomatoes and squash just about to start, okra and beans soon to follow!)

We would like to welcome Lonely Hearts Club Farm to our market. Lonely Hearts Club Farm is offering fresh herbs and vegetables. Check out their listings including Lemon Balm, Oregano, French Tarragon, English Thyme, and more. New…Kale Blends in single and bulk bunches.
We would also like to announce that Deer Creek Farm has blueberries to offer this week AND they have added Blueberry Pie and vanilla cupcakes to their listings this week!
We are moving along and growing each week. Check in with us often as we are working to bring you more fresh, local, and healthy foods.
